North Korea's KCNA said in January that Warmbier "was caught committing a hostile act against the state", which it said was "tolerated and manipulated by the USA government". Warmbier said that on January 1, he stole a political sign that had promoted "the Korean people's love for their system" from the hotel, according to the Korean Central News Agency. (more...)
