Ferrari's Vettel held onto his second position, 6.250 seconds behind, without having threatened the win while Verstappen's third completed a remarkable run from 16th in his Red Bull after a software problem hampered his qualifying. Both the Ferraris topped the final practice session and Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen, who qualified fourth for the race, also topped the timesheets at the end of the first two parts of qualifying. As a candidate and private citizen, Trump cast Syria's civil war as a quagmire from which the United States should steer clear. The European Union today imposed additional sanctions on North Korea over nuclear and ballistic missile tests which it said threatened worldwide security. "I think that North Korea long ago ceased to be a strategic asset for China", he added. We're rapidly and dangerously heading towards the reality that the military option is the only one left when it comes to getting North Korea to denuclearize and not weaponized [intercontinental ballistic missiles]. On Tuesday, President Trump ripped up Obama's Clean Power Plan (CPP), which had placed regulations on business and industry carbon dioxide emissions in an attempt to tackle climate change.
