Rob Gronkowski suffers groin injury during Patriots, Saints game

New England quarterback Tom Brady told CBS Sunday Morning that while he does not worry about concussions he's

The New England Patriots raced to an early lead and never looked back on their way to a 36-20 victory over the New Orleans Saints on Sunday at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

Brady, Brees and Bono.

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady passed for 177 yards and three touchdowns in the first quarter.

What I liked: Besides Lattimore, the Saints continued to show potency in their passing game - which may serve them well against lesser opponents.

Roughly a third of the Saints' 81 rushing yards came on Ingram's 28-yard gain on the game's final play. Belichick is the best coach in football. One week after Coby Fleener shocked us all with a good game at Minnesota, the Saints wasted another good outing by supposedly one of their weak links on offense. The Chiefs were very balanced on their 65 offensive plays they ran 27 were rushes and 35 were passes.

After everyone was ready to write them off following Week 1, we learned a lot about the Patriots in this game. He's thrown just nine regular-season picks since the beginning of 2015, a time when Brady also wasn't exactly young. Brees stands third in National Football League history with 66,402 yards and 466 TDs, and Brady fourth with 61,849 yards and 456 TDs.

From there on, the Patriots cruised to their first win of the season. This is what the Saints have for this season. The usually high-scoring unit managed just four field goals before scoring a touchdown late in the game.

"We were 0-1, and with the 10-day break, it felt like a year", Brady said.

I asked Sean Payton this, so I'll let him tell you first.

Clemson offers Lamar Jackson a chance to take the Heisman lead
The Tigers will be challenged by Lamar Jackson , Louisville's Heisman Trophy victor , which is the matchup everyone wants to see. Two series later, Clemson was in trouble after Ray-Ray McCloud's fumble left Auburn set up just 10 yards from a touchdown.

Everybody, at least on offense, appeared to do their job while bringing their "A" game.

I agree with him. "Yet, his approach and his discipline during that time - he played at such a high level, but he just anxious about what he controlled".

"Unfortunately, it's just been a little bit everything right now", he said.

This game may seem less of a Patriots vs. Saints matchup and more of a Brady vs. Brees matchup.

Gronkowski had a chance at another touchdown, but dropped a lob pass from Brady in the end zone at the end of the first half. The defense surrendered one big play after another. "We're trying to win".

New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees (9) and the Saints offense in the huddle.

However, the Patriots would pull away before the half. "Unfortunately, that's the way the game played out".

The Patriots traded with the Saints to get wide receiver Brandin Cooks, hoping to add a target that could stretch the field for veteran quarterback Tom Brady. Brady said he's glad Cooks is on his side now. "I do wanna go out playing my best". That's the 2-0 Panthers.
