Jaguar unveils new E-PACE SUV in London

Milos Raonic Loses at Wimbledon But Wins With Jaguar

The five seat, compact SUV, says Jaguar, packs in the style and performance of a Jaguar sports auto into a spacious and capable all-wheel drive vehicle.

Priced from £28,500, with three diesel power choices (150hp, 180hp and 240hp) and two petrol (249hp or 300hp), all are four-cylinder 2.0-litre Ingenium engines with headline 60.1mpg and 124g/km Carbon dioxide headline economy and emissions figures for the two-wheel drive 150hp diesel 6-speed manual and likely fleet best-seller.

Jaguar has launched its new E-Pace small SUV in dramatic fashion - with the world's longest barrel roll.

Inside, the cockpit design features a driver-oriented wraparound dash with a passenger grab handle on the center console, a layout inspired by the Jaguar F-Type 2-seat sports auto. Alloy wheels up to 21 inch in diameter are offered; the standard size wheel is 17-inch. It's a new compact performance SUV (Sports Utility Vehicle) which follows on from the firm's first ever SUV, the best-selling Jaguar F-Pace.

More than a year after taking a successful swipe at the sport utility market, Jaguar is poised to pounce yet again with the all-new E-Pace. The standard models will be capable of accelerating to 60 miles per hour in 6.6 seconds with a top speed of 146 miles per hour, while the R-Dynamic versions hit 60 in 5.9 seconds and have a top speed of 151.

The F-Type-theme continues on the inside, says Autocar. Customers will also be spoilt for choice in terms of 2.0-litre, four-cylinder engine-specs which includes a 110kW, 132kW and 177kW diesel alongside two petrol variants with 183kW and 221kW of power.

All models are fitted with a ZF nine-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. A two-tone approach used in that vehicle is also incorporated in the E-Pace. Overall, it's 173.0 inches long and rides on a 105.6-inch wheelbase (think Honda Civic), and its split-fold rear seats can boost the cargo space from 24.2 cubic feet with the rear bench up, to 52.5 cubic feet with the rear bench folded down.

Kent fireworks kick off holiday
Nemacolin Woodlands Resort , located along Route 40 in Farmington, is hosting two nights of fireworks displays this year. Powers and Garrett say adults always should supervise fireworks activities when children are around.

"With the E-PACE, our aim was to develop a Jaguar SUV that feels and responds with the character of any of our rear-wheel drive vehicles. said Mike Cross, Chief Engineer of Vehicle Integrity, Jaguar".

There's also five USB and four 12-volt power sockets for passenger to charge their phones and tablets.

The E-PACE features the very latest safety and driver assistance technologies. The intelligent set-up combines phenomenal traction with Jaguar's unmistakable rear-wheel-drive character.

As with other Jaguars on sale, company executives are promising a dynamic driving experience in the E-Pace.

E-Pace measures 2,681mm and offers more rear legroom than what some larger SUVs offer.

Cabin storage is also pretty handy with door pockets able to swallow a full-size plastic water bottle and the central "mega bin" between the front seats containing a tray with two cupholders and space for a mobile phone.

Spec and connectivity are critical areas in this courageous new world and the marque is promising extensive spec across their two core models: Standard and R-Dynamic. A First Edition trim will be exclusively available for the first full model year with its own exterior colors and distinctive 20-inch wheels, among other things.
