Oysterponds Historical Society is hosting its 8th Annual Heritage Day on Sunday July 2, from 12 to 3 p.m. After the parade, food, music, field games and festivities on the Village Centre Green. Wilmot Township Celebration 251 Jacob St., New Hamburg, Ont.

- After a morning parade and afternoon events, the Fourth Fest in the Village of Pinehurst will continue in the evening with a concert and fireworks celebration at the Pinehurst Harness Track. The City will also offer shuttle service from Stanley White Recreation Center (901 Chapman Street).

Northside Fourth of July Parade - As the second half of Northside's festivities, this parade is an artistic spectacle. Face painting will be available for kids and fireworks will commence at dusk.

4th of July Celebration of the Shores of Lake Wales: July 4; Shores of Lake Wailes - Lake Wales; 33 N Lakeshore Blvd, Lake Wales, FL 33853; 2:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. Free, everyone is welcome. In 1776, Founding Father John Adams wrote in a letter that he hoped American independence would be celebrated with "Bells, Bonfires and Illuminations", among other things.

Events begin in the afternoon at Lawson Creek Park followed by fireworks in the evening that will be launched from the boat ramp at the east end of the park.

Potomac Nationals Annual Fireworks Show: Fireworks show after the baseball game. Events will be staggered throughout the night from 5-10:30 p.m. G. Richard Pfitzner Stadium, 7 County Complex Court, Woodbridge.

The Golden Triangle area has concerts, carnivals and fireworks displays planned to celebrate Independence Day 2017. Food booth, kid's activities and more will be available.

City officials ask to bring your family and friends, wear your red, white and blue, grab your lawn chairs, and head over to Gene L. Voyles Park, 210 Hudson Oaks Drive in Hudson Oaks.

The parade lineup begins at 10 a.m.at Hendersonville High School.

Tuesday, July 4, 10 a.m. -10 p.m. - Harbor Springs, another local town known for its Fourth of July festivities, will have activities and events for anyone and everyone including an art fair, the Paul Revere Run, a parade, a performance from the Young Americans, fireworks and more.

The fireworks display is funded through donations.

- In Festus, the VFW Post 3777, 900 VFW Drive, will hold a Henry Golden Boy Rifle drawing at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, July 4.

Fireworks in Cocoa Beach: Fireworks begins after dark - about 8:30 to 10 p.m. Monday, July 3, at Sidney Fischer Park, 2200 N. Atlantic Ave., Cocoa Beach.

- Denver - Independence Eve Fireworks: 8 p.m., Civic Center Park, 101 W. 14th Ave., Denver; denver.org.

- Denver - Fireworks: 10 p.m., Elitch Gardens Denver.

Admission is free and rain cancels the concert. Dueling Barges Fireworks display at Go 4th on the River.

Community Barbecue sponsored by the Warrenton Volunteer Firefighters Association, noon to 3 p.m.at the fire station on Main Avenue. Families of participating children will be given two free ride tickets for the Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum, 180 Thompson St., North Tonawanda.
