Spurs fall to Warriors in battle of NBA's top teams

Curry's 32 lead Warriors over Rockets 113-106

(The turning point must have been Klay Thompson signing a toaster.) On Wednesday, Golden State basically spotted the Spurs the first quarter and a 22-point lead, before roaring back in one of the most dominant showings we've seen from them in months. Golden State has thrived without the sharpshooter and has opened up a 3 1/2-game lead over second-place San Antonio in the Western Conference with just seven games remaining as it enters Friday's home contest against the Houston Rockets. After shooting 1-for-8 from three in the first half, Curry finished with 32 points to help his Warriors continue their dominance over the Rockets. He made big bucket after big bucket including the dagger, game-sealing three-pointer with less than a minute left in the fourth quarter.

In the Warriors' comeback victory, not only did Curry and Thompson play well - scoring 29 and 23 points, respectively - but the bench played a pivotal part as well. It was the 11th time this season that both Curry and Thompson scored at least 25 points in the same game.

With Kevin Durant showing flashes of fast improvement, the Warriors are without question a force to be reckoned with, especially going into the Playoffs.

'Only time will tell' on improving US-China trade
As a candidate and private citizen, Trump cast Syria's civil war as a quagmire from which the United States should steer clear. The most powerful message for the Chinese leader may have been Trump's decision to launch USA missile strikes at Syria.

Golden State went 2-5 after he was sidelined but the Warriors now boast an eight-game win streak and own the NBA's best record at 60-14. It looked as if only one team showed up to play. Golden State increased the lead in the fourth quarter. Durant missed his 14th consecutive game with a Grade 2 MCL sprain and bone bruise in his left knee suffered on February 28. They've emasculated the Rockets where they live, holding them to only 26 of 110 shooting from beyond the arc and being the only team to hold Mike D'Antoni's team under 10 three's per game.

In Toronto, Marco Belinelli scored 21 points, Kemba Walker had 19 and Charlotte edged the Raptors.

Rockets: Montrezl Harrell was away from the team for the birth of a child.

John Wall scored 41 points and Bradley Beal added 27 for the Wizards.

The Rockets didn't have the answers for solving Golden State's defense in their 113-106 loss on Tuesday night.

In New York, Goran Dragic had 20 points, nine assists and seven rebounds, and Miami breezed past the Knicks.
