Furthermore, there's also a 2x optical zoom with electronic image stabilization to keep shakiness to a minimum when filming videos. LG will put its strategic premium smartphone G6 at the forefront of its display in the exhibition. The phone has a 5.7 inch QHD+ FullVision display with a 2880 x 1440 px resolution and an awkward 18:9 aspect ratio. LG is calling this new display a FullVision display. Apart from this it will support HDR 10 as well.

Dolby Vision aims to transform your TV and cinema viewing experience with astonishing colors, contrast and brightness to offer life-like viewing experience.

The phone is also equipped with a 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC chip for better audio quality, be it from the speakers or headphones.

So, LG has introduced the feature - or something very like it - to its G6 camera, out of the box. The wide-angle rear shooter allows a 125-degree field of view, while the front 5MP camera spans 100 degrees. Being able to review your images on the screen while taking a 1:1 photo felt pretty impressive, and it definitely seems like something that will be popular with Instagram fans. Named G6, the newest LG phone is said to have been "designed in response to consumer feedback and user opinions". According to LG, the phone feels comfortable in various postures and actions when using the smartphone for longer periods.

T-Mobile confirmed it will start retailing the LG G6 this spring.

Design: Unlike the G5 that featured a semi-modular design, the G6 comes with a full metal unibody. The LG G6 is also the first LG G-series smartphone that is both water and dust resistant, coming with IP68-rating. Free of the shackles of modular design, which did nothing to boost the sales of the LG G5, the company has added a slab of curved gorilla glass on the back, with the two glass panels - back and front - held together by an aluminum frame.

Barnett chances his arm on penalty rates
It's not every day you'll see the conditions of workers eroded to this extent in a country like ours but here we are. Aussies who rely on penalty rates generally earn a relatively low wage.

The LG G6 will be available in three colours: Mystic White, Astro Black and Ice Platinum.

The smartphone also has Google Assistant built-in which works with LG apps, and it will run Android 7.0 Nougat. This 14nm SoC comes paired with 4GB RAM and either 32GB or 64GB storage, with the handset supporting microSD cards up to, theoretically, 2TB. Other highlights of the phone include the Google Assistant and some treats for game lovers. The phone can stream and playback HDR content from Amazon Prime and Netflix. You get USB Type C connectivity along with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2 and NFC.

As rumored, there's no modular design on the LG G6, but the company has done an incredible job with the design language.

The fingerprint sensor is located below the phone's dual 13-megapixel cameras.

LG also laid stress on the fact that it has made the G6 go through extra safety measures to ensure that its battery is safe. It has 3300mAh of removable battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 for fast charging. The smartphone measures 148.9 x 71.9 x 7.9 mm and weighs 163 grams.
