Gaming giant Nintendo has revealed its long-awaited Switch console will be released on March 3 and cost £279.99 in the UK. Interestingly, GameStop does have the neon Switch available for pre-order elsewhere on the site, but only as part of bundles that include a variety of different games.

Young said that the lack of StreetPass plays into the idea of the Switch as a home console, not a portable system (even if it offers on-the-go playing).

Nintendo's Switch event briefly talked about its newly-designed online service for the Nintendo Switch, but it might not be as great as it sounded. Nintendo says that it hopes the new app can help parents and their kids "enjoy gaming together".

The first of the Nintendo Switch Japan demo livestreams will be available on 8 p.m.

Derrick Rose left Knicks 'livid and embarrassed' by going AWOL
Rose, whose career has been plagued by knee injuries, missed only a handful of games earlier this season due to back spasms. But at the end of the game, it appeared that Knicks officials still weren't exactly sure what was going on with Rose.

Super Mario Odyssey appears to be an ambitious effort from Nintendo, bringing the beloved plumber to a seemingly open-world sandbox-styled game.

When it comes to processor and RAM, Nintendo said the Switch is powered by a custom Nvidia Tegra processor, without revealing other details. "Some games tended to be a little bit harder, and a little bit harder to play, and then so we teeter back to make it accessible to all kinds of gamers, and then we go back the other way", Miyamoto explained. Battery life in handheld mode is variable depending on the game, but it should last a minimum of two and a half hours. The highly anticipated Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will launch alongside the Switch.

We don't know yet, but expect to find out from the Switch event. It's namely for making news announcements for new games including features and release dates. It's unclear if these features are also supported directly through the Switch itself (without the use of a "smart device") but the wording on Nintendo web site suggests they might not be. March 3rd is when the system launches, and it'll cost you $299 in the U.S., and come with the system, dock, two Joy-Con controllers, dock, Joy-Con Grip, AC adapter, HDMI cable, and wrist straps.
